Daniel Charles Welling, gifted in sports

Daniel Charles Welling passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, after a long battle with the disease of addiction. Dan was born to Donald and Joy Welling Oct. 2, 1978, in Baltimore, Md.

Dan was naturally gifted in all sports, and excelled at anything he put his mind to. His passions were the gym, working out and the Baltimore Ravens.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Joy Tyransky Welling; brothers Donald and Brandon Welling; sisters, Nichole and Holly Welling; sisters-in-law, Christine and Lauren Welling; nephews, Chase, Lucas, Ashton, Ethan, Landon and Cameron Welling; nieces, Natalie and Corinne Welling; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Welling. His memory will live on forever through his family and countless friends from New Jersey to California.

A memorial service will be held at Ed Oliver Golf Club, 800 N. DuPont Road, Wilmington, Sunday, Dec. 3, starting at noon.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please help an addict in need. Never give up, never stop fighting!
