Day trip reservations due April 14 for Winterthur exhibit

To see exhibit ‘Costuming The Crown’

The First Town Club of Lewes is accepting reservations for a bus trip to Winterthur, Museum in Centreville Tuesday, May 14, to see the exhibit Costuming The Crown.

Winterthur’s exhibit will display 40 costumes from the Netflix show “The Crown.” The deadline for reservations is Sunday, April 14.

Cost for the bus, museum fee and tip for the driver is $50. Lunch will be on one’s own at Winterthur’s cafeteria.

The bus will leave at 8 a.m. from the Lowes parking lot on Coastal Highway in Lewes, and depart at 3 p.m. from Winterthur. A tour of the museum is scheduled at 10:30 a.m., and afterwards attendees will have time to explore the exhibit, see Winterthur’s grounds via tram ride, enjoy lunch and visit the museum store.

Tickets are non-refundable unless there is a wait list.
