Debbie's Fund sponsors stall at horse rescue dedication

May 19, 2019

Changing Fates Equine Rescue of Delaware has opened the new horse barn at its Laurel ranch.

The 52-by-150-foot building was constructed with the help of a $100,000 grant from the Longwood Foundation. With a $3,000 donation, the Debra L. Sipple Memorial Inc., also known as Debbie's Fund, sponsored a stall in the new facility.

Changing Fates has been rescuing and rehoming horses at the ranch, but was in need of the new building as its efforts have grown over the years.

Debbie's Fund is a nonprofit based in Milford that supports a number of animal caregivers in Kent and Sussex counties.
