The Delaware Watercolor Society recently announced award winners for its exhibit titled It’s a Shore Thing, on display through Tuesday, June 30, at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes. Nationally acclaimed watercolorist Mick McAndrews served as juror.

The Delaware Watercolor Society extends its heartfelt congratulations to the award winners. First place goes to “Shaved Ice” by C. Mercedes Walls, sponsored by the Baltimore Watercolor Society. Second place is awarded to “Salt Air” by Mick Williams, and third place is given to “Beach Hat” by Christine Heyse.

Merit Awards were presented for “Addie Mae’s Sunset” by Doris Ingram, “Snowy Egret” by Lawrence Cordeiro, and “St. Matthews Anglican, Nassau, Bahamas,” by Brad Hastings.
