Delmarva Christian Schools to hold open house Nov. 4 for prospective students

November 1, 2017

Delmarva Christian Schools will host an open house from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 4, for prospective students considering enrolling at Delmarva Christian High School or Delmarva Christian Milton Campus for the 2018-19 school year. The open house will be held at both the high school campus in Georgetown for students entering grades 9 through 12 and at the lower campus in Milton for students entering grades pre-K through 8.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet teachers/staff, learn about each school's Christ-centered curriculum that imparts excellence, and tour either or both schools throughout the three-hour event. Information will also be available on distinct programs each school offers to include, but not limited to, J-Term, Life Calling, athletics and the arts.

As space is limited, Delmarva Christian Schools will begin accepting student applications during the open house; therefore, the sooner one submits an application, the better the chances of not being placed on a waiting list. Currently, DCS is offering an application fee reimbursement program enabling students who file their applications by Dec. 31, eligibility for reimbursement of the entire $100 application fee.

Committed to excellence, Delmarva Christian Schools offers nondenominational, Christ-centered educational opportunities to students from pre-K through eighth grade in Milton and from ninth through 12th grade in Georgetown. DCHS is dually accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association and the Association of Christian Schools International with teachers certified by the state of Delaware (or a reciprocal state) or by ACSI. Offering 12 different varsity-level sports, DCHS is a member of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference. DCMC offers a hybrid-classical approach with small classes promoting individualized attention and expansive learning opportunities to include classes in technology and the arts.

The mission of Delmarva Christian Schools is to proclaim the gospel by preparing students spiritually, academically, and physically to know and do God's will in their lives. For more information, or to apply for the 2017-18 school year, call 302-856-4040 or visit
