Delmarva Teen Challenge needs support

August 28, 2018

Thank you for the inspiring article on Bob Carey and his work with Delmarva Teen Challenge. We are all aware of the addiction problem in our society, and how alcohol and drug abuse destroys a person along with causing great pain for families/children.

What a blessing for Sussex County to have this local program available for those in need. We all can’t be a Bob Carey or a counselor/worker at Teen Challenge, but there are some things that we can do to be a part and to support this great program.

As the article stated, Delmarva Teen Challenge is getting ready to open a much-needed women’s center, Home for Hope. They could use gently used quality furniture, appliances and other household items. They offer a furniture pickup service to make donating easier for you.

Call 302-629-3733 to schedule a pickup. You can also drop off items ... unneeded clothing, linens, and other household items to their Mega Thrift Shop at 22941 Sussex Highway in Seaford. If you like thrift shops, be sure to visit theirs. It is well worth the drive to Seaford!

Think of your support and donations as going toward the restoration of another’s life as well as restored joy and hope for a family. It was a great article written about a great guy, who is giving his testimony about a great God.
