Democrats have unusual reaction to McGuiness situation
The letter from Mike Spencer regarding the unusual reaction of Democrats to the McGuiness situation mirrored my own thoughts. I too link the calls for her resignation to her calls for an audit of Medicaid. I worked in social services in another state and can attest to the fact that mistakes are made when establishing initial and continued eligibility for various programs. The uncovering of these mistakes might prove an embarrassment to other office holders. The audit should be done and the entire results released to the public.
