Design firms merge, create event and décor collaborative

Styled, a seasonal and special occasion design décor company operating throughout Delaware and the Eastern Shore, recently merged with Jim Gray, well-known designer and owner of the City Florist of Salisbury, Md.

Gray, a widely-acclaimed florist and decorator throughout the Mid-Atlantic for over 40 years, is known for bringing beauty and elegance with a fresh look to events across the region.

In addition to the merger with the City Florist, the Styled team has been hard at work creating an event and décor collaborative, a one-stop shop and destination where clients can see, touch and feel all the pieces that come together to create a truly memorable event.

Situated at 17541 Shady Road in Lewes, this new location is set to welcome clients in a relaxed, vintage-modern atmosphere designed for stress-free event planning. A variety of rental items including tables, chairs, vintage furniture pieces, linens, florals, lighting, decor and centerpieces options are available to be seen and experienced by customers. The new location also boasts a full-size open kitchen for on-site catering and bakery tastings.

“We are excited to be working with Make My Day Event Planning as well as Coastal Tented Events to offer clients a concierge-level décor and event planning service,” said Jess Bain, co-owner of Styled. “In addition, we’ve launched the Total Package in conjunction with a devoted team of on-site event professionals. With this team, we are able to provide photography, transportation, catering, custom favors options, hair and make-up, and entertainment for events.  Our goal is to make our clients’ planning process as smooth, stress-free, and enjoyable as possible for them!”
