Devil's Party Press of Milton wins Delaware Press Association awards

May 12, 2018

The Delaware Press Association held its 41st Annual Communications Contest Awards Banquet May 3 at the University & Whist Club in Wilmington. Devil's Party Press of Milton captured two awards at the event. The publisher's October 2017 debut release, “Halloween Party 2017,” took third place in the Short Stories - Collection category. “Solstice,” the publisher’s December 2017 release, captured second place in the same category.

Dianne Pearce, Devil’s Party Press publisher, said, "The Delaware Press Association is a wonderful organization, and I am honored that our first two ventures into the world of publishing were recognized by the DPA judges. We look forward to being actively involved with the DPA in the months and years ahead."

DPP also unveiled its publishing roadmap for the remainder of 2018, which features two original novels by Milton authors. “One of the Madding Crowd” by David Dutton is scheduled for publication in August, while “Mosquitoes and Men” by Mark Polo is scheduled for a November release. DPP will also publish three anthologies this year: “Equinox” in May, “Aurora” in July, and a third, as-yet untitled collection to be released in late November. The publisher is currently accepting submissions for “Aurora.”
