Do nothing for Valentine’s Day at Bethany Blues Feb. 14
When it comes to Valentine’s Day, nothing is worse than feeling like the odd person out. For those who aren’t coupled, or who are ditching the concept of one day devoted to love, either Bethany Blues location is the place to be Thursday, Feb. 14.
The Lewes location team is proudly doing basically nothing for Valentine’s Day. Lewes will be serving up $5 crushes in all varieties (bourbon and vodka.) Whether people are crushing on someone special, looking to get crushed or just need someone to crush on them, they’re covered. Regular Thursday night specials will be in full swing. Barbecue sandwiches are half price and team trivia starts at 7 p.m., with sign up at 6:30 p.m.
And the extra salty, lonely hearts can come on in, warm themselves by the roaring fire and then throw their old love letters in it and watch them burn, baby, burn. The burning of the love notes (or old pictures, or just someone’s name scrawled on a piece of paper in hate), was started last Valentine’s Day, and is back by popular demand. Seriously, it’s a great time to let go of an old flame by using a literal flame to torch those feelings.
The Bethany location is hosting a Bourbon and Wine Expo in conjunction with Banks’ Wine and Spirits Feb. 14. The mix and mingle casual event features sips and direct sales and some amazing food stations. The theme is Bourbon and Wine will be the Valentine and the event was so instantly popular it already sold out, but the Bethany location is still open for regular service.
It is burger night in the comfy Blues atmosphere, and crushes are $5. It won’t be cluttered with all the makings of a romantic energy field, just the ambiance of a favorite watering hole. Isn’t that refreshing? But wait, there’s more. Just kidding. There isn’t. That’s what makes Blues special on Valentine’s Day.
So whether people are attached or unattached, or if it’s simply more complicated this Valentine’s Day, come on in to either Bethany Blues location where the pressure is off and the vibe is normal.
