Don’t admonish maskless bicyclists

July 27, 2020

I have been riding my bike without a mask in both Rehoboth Beach and Lewes without a guilty conscience. Riding a bike with a mask is difficult and not healthy, especially in the summer. I practice social distancing and wear a mask, where and when appropriate.  I will continue to ride my bike without a mask since it is not violating any current guidance. Those who chastise those of a different opinion should try riding a bike as real exercise with a mask and you will probably change your mind.
