The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach recently donated $3,000 to the Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation Institute.
VIA President Carole Suchanek designated MERR as the VIA’s community improvement special project for the next two years. MERR provides rescue and care for marine mammals and sea turtles in distress as well as conducting research, education and outreach programs throughout Delaware on marine mammal and sea turtle ecology and conservation.
