Doris Ann Millman, Burris Logistics retiree
Doris Ann Millman, 95, of Milton, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at her home. Doris was born May 10, 1927, in Milford, to her parents Leighton and Helen (Davis) Donovan.
Doris was employed as a secretary at Burris Logistics for 38 years. She loved to decorate, garden, play the piano and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. Doris attended Goshen United Methodist Church and Milton Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Millman; and her daughter, Beverly Ann Dentino. She is survived by her son, Judge Kenneth M. Millman (retired) and his wife Becki; son-in-law, Jay Dentino; grandchildren, Jarrod Millman, Whitney Smith (Greg), Shaye Dentino, Courtney Harp (Raymond) and Shelby Henley (Eric); great-grandchildren, Logan, Noah and Piper Smith, Chase, Peyton and Gavin Morris, Avery and Grayson Harp, Hayley, Taylor and Ryan Henley. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to longtime caregiver, Cindy Bell, who provided loving care to Mom. We want to thank Kathy Dorrell, Michelle Warrington, Tussia Cornish, Kelly Sherrod and Vilette Newcombe for their care of our mother as well. We also thank Delaware Hospice for their excellent care of our mother in her last days.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 17, at Goshen United Methodist Church chapel, 103 Mulberry St., Milton. A time of visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be at the Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
