DQ Dash donates $9K to Go Fourth Lewes Fireworks

The DQ Dash event held April 25 netted $9,000 to benefit the Go Fourth Lewes fireworks fund.
The annual event is sponsored by Lewes Dairy Queen and other Lewes-area businesses, with race organization by Seashore Striders.
Funds for the Lewes 4th of July fireworks are raised by a broad-based community committee with donations from residents, businesses and visitors. With the decision to stage the fireworks made only recently, fundraising efforts are compressed into a shorter time frame this year. Donations are being solicited now.
