Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens has announced the 2020 Blue-Gold All-Star Football Game has been canceled.

“For 65 years, DFRC, Delaware Foundation Reaching Citizens with intellectual disABILITIES has focused on the intrinsic value of each life,” said foundation representatives in a press release. “We strive to provide opportunities to learn from each other and translate those lessons into ways that provide a meaningful impact in the world. During these unprecedented times of illness, anxiety and uncertainty resulting from the spread of the coronavirus, we have remained vigilant in our most important objective to maintain the safety and well-being of everyone. In this effort, we have made some extremely difficult decisions.”

DFRC made the decision to cancel the football game based upon thoughtful discussions with informed professionals and the commitment to do its part to keep all citizens safe and well.
