A Dagsboro man faces charges after police stopped his car March 12 on Long Neck Road and found drugs inside.
Police pulled over a Mercedes Benz traveling north at 6:46 p.m. and smelled marijuana inside the vehicle, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police.
Jaffe said Kevin D. Handy Jr., 28, had a suspended license and inside the car police found 2.6 grams of heroin, 3.6 grams of cocaine, 3.8 grams of marijuana, $300 in suspected drug money and drug paraphernalia.
Handy was taken to Troop 7 and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, possession of marijuana personal use and improper tail lights.
Handy was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $51,502 secured bond.
