The Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore fifth annual Walk With Me & 5K Fun Run Delmarva event recently raised more than $50,150 to support services for children and adults with disabilities. Easterseals credits the success of the event to the support from the Easterseals Sussex Advisory Board, team members, their families, community sponsors, volunteers and staff. More than 300 people, including 33 teams, participated in the walk which featured local families served by Easterseals.

“Easterseals is overwhelmed by the incredible support of the local community for our fifth Walk With Me Delmarva event,” said Kenan Sklenar, president/CEO of Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore “I would like to thank the community for their hard work and dedication to supporting people with disabilities.”

Walk With Me Event Ambassador Kenzie Pickett and her team, Keeping Up With Kenzie, led the way in fundraising with $3,336 raised by 27 members. Kenzie received children’s therapy services with Easterseals.
