Eating Rehoboth tours go on the road Feb. 7

January 10, 2019

In celebration of its seventh season of introducing vacationers and locals to some of the best dining at the beach, Eating Rehoboth restaurant tours announced the addition of a new itinerary that will feature five of the best restaurants on Coastal Highway. The inaugural Highway tour is slated for Thursday, Feb. 7, and tickets are now available at www.EatingRehoboth.com.

Working closely with Jolly Trolley, Eating Rehoboth tour guides Jay Allen, Gracie Guaragna, Bob Yesbek, Paul Cullen and Deb Griffin will introduce tourgoers to a lineup of popular restaurants that includes Crust & Craft, Miyagi Ramen Bar, Rosenfeld’s Jewish Deli, Saketumi, Touch of Italy, Fork & Flask, Bluecoast Rehoboth and more. In fact, the number of participating eateries is already greater than what Eating Rehoboth can visit in one three-hour event, so some restaurants will alternate week to week, giving repeat tourgoers a greater variety of sips and bites.

The Eating Rehoboth downtown walking tours will still operate as usual, with new restaurants added every season. Ticketholders are treated to a small-plate sample of each restaurant’s food, plus a specially prepared drink, cocktail or brew. Eating Rehoboth tour organizers are pleased it is TripAdvisor’s No. 1 activity here at the beach, and they are proud to have won the 2014 Southern Delaware Tourism Recognition Award.

As with the downtown walking tours, the Highway tours are restricted to those over 21 years old, and they are already booking up. The downtown Rehoboth walking tours are still $55 per person, and the new Highway tours are $69 per person. For more information and to reserve tickets, go to www.EatingRehoboth.com.
