Elaine Watson of Millsboro, retired beautician

Elaine Watson of Millsboro, 75, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Watson was born in Pensacola, Fla., March 16, 1942, to the late Luther E. and Martha I. Lundy Eppinger. She was a retired beautician. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Elaine was a Navy wife, and later in life a policeman's wife and a mother of two children. She loved dogs, cats and horses.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Wayne Porter Watson of Millsboro; a son, Dwayne Scott Watson and his wife Diane of Morganza, Md.; and a daughter, Tracy L. Engbloom and her husband John of Davison, Mich.; and a brother, Luther "Butch" Eppinger of Bedford, Pa. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a niece, a nephew, cousins, and extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 17, at the First Baptist Church, 20304 N. DuPont Hwy., Georgetown, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. for viewing and visitation. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Elaine's memory to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947.
