Elks Hoop Shoot set Dec. 12

Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 will hold its local Hoop Shoot contest at 10 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Sussex Family YMCA in Rehoboth Beach.
Hoop Shoot is a free-throw basketball shooting contest open to boys and girls in age groups 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13.
Winners will be the boys and girls who make the most of 25 free-throw attempts. Winners will be given a basketball and advance to the Elks District event. They also have the opportunity to advance to regional, state and national competitions in 2022.
No preregistration is needed.
