Encore show of ‘Aging Gracelessly: Don’t Say Fay!’ set Jan. 11
Humorist and sit-down comic Fay Jacobs is set to perform an encore night of comedy with her stories of “Aging Gracelessly: Don’t Say Fay!” at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan.11, at the Top of the Pines in Rehoboth Beach. Doors open at 6 p.m.
This latest show played to a sold-out crowd at the Pines in November, and the club is bringing Jacobs back for another laugh-filled performance. She has lots of new material to prove her insistence that nothing is ever so bad if it’s worth the story a person can tell. Patrons can expect a night of laughter, libations, and a new small- and large-plate dinner menu.
Jacobs has performed up and down the East Coast, with standing ovations at The Duplex Cabaret in New York City, the Sage Inn in Provincetown, Mass., aboard a cruise ship and at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, but she loves being back in Rehoboth to make the hometown crowd laugh. Her stories resonate with everyone – gay, straight and allies, men, women and all the fluidity in between.
Guests will be regaled with tales of Rehoboth history, relatable stories about COVID lockdown, kayak adventures and RV life, liberty and the pursuit of schnauzers.
Tickets are $10 and going fast. To make a reservation, go to TOTPshows.com.
