Eva Marie Woody, cherished family
Eva Marie Woody, 43. of Lewes, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023. She was born Thursday, June 7, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late John Thomas Woody and Josephine C. Keffala of Lewes.
Eva was a 1996 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School. Eva was currently working in the food service industry at Texas Roadhouse in Millsboro. During her free time, she enjoyed listening to oldies and rap music. Above all, she cherished time spent with those who were most dear to her. Eva was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her father, Eva was preceded in death by her brother Shawn T. Woody; and her sister Amanda Woody. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Destiny Mackay and Arrionna Mackay; her life partner, Bob Moore of Philadelphia, Pa.; her sisters: Joanna Woody and Tina Herzog, both of Lewes, and Krista Woody and Kaitlyn Woody, both of Philadelphia; her nieces and nephews: Sterlynge Gladwin, Julius Torres, Gianna Torres, Jovanni Torres, Jozi Rozay Cross, Reynaldo Garcia, Zuriayah Garcia, Lennox Garcia, Alexander Woody and Aziiyah Ferrell; and her granddaughter, Heavanly Rodriguez; and her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, with a viewing beginning at 10 a.m.
