During the organization's 189th annual dinner in January, current Delaware State Chamber of Commerce President Michael J. Quaranta announced his plans to retire by the end of 2026, and the search to identify his successor is now in progress.

Leading one of the oldest continuously operating state chambers in the United States, and the largest and most influential business advocacy organization in Delaware, the selected candidate will serve as the voice of the state's business community and help shape the future of Delaware's economy.

“Serving as president of the Delaware State Chamber since 2018 has been one of the greatest privileges of my career,” said Quaranta. “I am incredibly proud of everything we've accomplished on behalf of Delaware's business community. While it's never easy to step away, I have complete confidence in the search committee to identify the right leader to build on our momentum and lead the state chamber into the future.”

The state chamber board of directors has appointed a search committee to lead the quest for the organization's next president. Working alongside executive search firm Korn Ferry, the committee will identify and evaluate candidates as it selects the state chamber's next leader.
