Lobster fest at St. Ann Parish Sept. 21

St. Ann Council Knights of Columbus invites everyone to attend its annual lobster fest Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Ann Parish, Bethany Beach. There will seatings from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., in Father Delaney Hall. The menu includes 1 1/4 lb lobster, steamed clams, corn on the cob, potato salad, dessert, beer and soft drinks. There will be a children's menus that substitutes hot dogs for lobster. Tickets are $27.50 for adults and $10 for children. Seating is limited. Pancake supper at Providence UMC Sept. 27

Pasta with a Purpose to benefit local families in need Sept. 28

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church will host a Pasta with a Purpose fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at St. Peter’s Parish Hall, 211 Mulberry St., Lewes. All are welcome for an evening of excellent food prepared by professional chef the Rev. Deacon Chris Miller-Marcin and her kitchen staff.

The women's ministry at Harmony United Methodist Church invites all women and girls to join in celebrating the theme of Women Coming Together to Serve God at the annual Harmony Women's Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28. Conley’s UMC harvest festival Sept. 28

Conley’s United Methodist Church United Methodist Women will host a harvest festival from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28. More than 35 vendors will offer handmade crafts, sea glass and custom jewelry, quilting, photography, harvest table, baked goods and other tasty treats. Admission is free, and lunch can be purchased onsite. Bishop to celebrate mass of remembrance at Dagsboro cemetery Sept. 28

The Most Rev. W. Francis Malooly, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, will preside at the 17th annual Mass of Remembrance at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 32112 Vines Creek Road, Dagsboro. All those who were laid to rest in the cemetery over the previous year will be especially remembered at the mass. Seating and protection from the weather will be provided. Liturgical ministers from St. Jude the Apostle Church in Lewes will assist. Members of Mason-Dixon VFW Post 7234, Ocean View, will give a military tribute prior to the start of mass.

Breakfast with Santa to benefit local families in need Nov. 30

Santa Claus is coming to town, and everyone is invited to join him for a buffet breakfast to benefit Christmas Joy 365 at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, at Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach. Christmas Joy 365 provides Christmas for needy children and families in the Cape Henelopen School District. Delaware Law Enforcement for Christ meets monthly in Dover

Delaware Law Enforcement for Christ is an organization seeking to meet the spiritual needs of all who are involved in law enforcement in Delaware. DLEFC is here to help anyone who works in any law enforcement field, as well as their families, to deal with the stress of the job through counseling, prayer and having a relationship with Christ. The Society of St. Vincent dePaul is accepting donations to help community members meet basic needs such as heating oil, food, rent, electricity, medications, and bus tickets and gasoline to enable parents to get to work.
