A May 18 fire that heavily damaged a Greenwood bar was started intentionally, the fire marshal says.
The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is conducting an arson investigation into a building fire that heavily damaged The Pit Stop Bar and Grill in the first block of West Market Street, said Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal John Galaska.
The fire was reported shortly after 3 a.m., May 18, causing $500,000 worth of damages to the building. A firefighter responding to the scene was treated for minor injuries.
