First State Corvette Club’s Solid Waste Attack Team cleared Apple Grove School Road Sept. 28. Filling five large bags of materials such as various types of bottles and containers as well as a plethora of paper materials was the result of their efforts. Motorists passing by slowed and waved in appreciation of the effort. A local resident came out and expressed thanks for the work being done.
FSCC’s “SWAT” leader Elaine Straughn said, “We’ll continue our work in the future, doing our part to help keep Delaware’s roadways pleasing to the eye.“
