The communities of Sussex East and Sussex West near Lewes held a flag-raising ceremony May 15 in preparation for the Memorial Day holiday.
The event featured local musician Jim Miller of the Hot Sauce Band and Delmarva Big Band playing patriotic tunes for residents who gathered to attend this solemn celebration.
