Nearly 50 former Cape lacrosse players hit the Legends Stadium turf for an alumni game Nov. 23.
It was a game featuring intense hits, shots, saves and laughs, as the players from seasons past shared stories of state championships beating Sallies, Caesar Rodney and numerous other rivals.
Sticks were put in a pile and randomly separated to pick the teams. Then they battled for four 20-minute quarters in a game where the score wasn’t important. What was tallied were the memories of lacrosse brotherhood.
