Foundation announces winners of autographed Saints gear

January 14, 2020

Staff at Irish Eyes in Lewes pulled the winning raffle tickets Dec. 30 for a Drew Brees autographed New Orleans Saints helmet and a Michael Thomas autographed Saints football. Congratulations winners to Megan McIlvain and Justin Stickland. The Jason Anderson Foundation thanks all those who purchased tickets for this raffle. Special thanks go to Irish Eyes, Buffalo Wild Wings in Rehoboth, The Greene Turtle in Five Points, and The Factory for their support of ticket sales during the event.

All proceeds from this raffle will be used to provide funding to Delaware children in need who want to participate in a local community organized youth sports activity.

The Jason Anderson Foundation for Youth Sports, a Lewes-based 501(c)3 nonprofit, is dedicated to helping children in need participate in a youth sports activity. Having spent its first four years providing more than $35,000 in grants to local Delaware sports programs, the foundation is working to broaden its impact on the community by partnering with local youth sports programs to ensure no child is turned away due to a lack of financial resources. Organizations or individuals seeking assistance can complete a grant or scholarship request application at www.jasonandersonfoundation.org/grant-applications/. The foundation is now accepting applications for spring 2020 and the deadline for receipt of applications is Monday, March 30.
