May 28, 2019

Al and Mary Frantic were joined by Milton Chamber of Commerce members and others May 17 for a ribbon cutting ceremony at Frantic Frets Music & Antiques of Milton, to celebrate the establishment's one-year anniversary. The Frantics own and operate the eclectic store, which officially opened for business May 24, 2018. Frantic Frets consists of an antiques and collectibles barn, and a music shop that includes new and vintage acoustic and electric guitars as well as other instruments and gear. Al Frantic also offers guitar lessons, and instrument repair and refitting.

"We're thrilled that Mary and Al decided to open a shop in Milton," said Dianne Pearce, director of the Milton Chamber of Commerce. “I encourage residents to continue to support Frantic Frets and the other local businesses that continue to grow and revitalize our town."

To further celebrate their store's one-year anniversary, Al and Mary will host an in-store party from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, June 15, with live music by local musicians, The Girlfriends. Beer, wine, and light fare will be offered. The rain date is Sunday, June 16. Frantic Frets Music & Antiques is at 26370 Broadkill Road, Milton. For more information, go to www.franticfrets.com/.
