Fund for Women salutes Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame honorees

Fund for Women founders and supporters gathered May 4 in Georgetown for In the Presence of Greatness, a free art exhibit and reception celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Delaware Women's Hall of Fame and the FFW’s 30th year of supporting and empowering Delaware women and girls.

Delaware Tech Owens Campus is hosting the exhibit featuring portraits by Delaware artist Theresa Walton of every woman inducted into the hall of fame. It celebrates the tremendous achievements of women from across the state in various professional fields and community endeavors.

The exhibit was commissioned by the state’s Office of Women’s Advancement and Advocacy, and the May 4 event was hosted by the FFW Kent and Sussex County Development Committees to build awareness about the Fund for Women and its work. The public is invited to view the portraits of Delaware Women’s Hall of Fame honorees through Jan. 31, 2024, at the Carter Partnership Center on Delaware Tech’s Owens Campus in Georgetown.
