The Funsters to perform July 2 at Stango Park in Lewes
The Funsters will kick off Independence Day week in Lewes with high-energy dance music at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, in Stango Park. They cover everything from Frank Sinatra to The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Al Green with a three-piece horn section, four lead vocalists, and guitarists who have toured all over. Fourth of July festivities continue in Lewes Thursday, July 4, with good old-fashioned games on Second Street, a boat parade on the canal, the Doo-Dah parade around town, and fireworks at night. Concerts are free and provide a family-friendly atmosphere with diverse music options. All are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and their dancing shoes. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to Cape Henlopen High School.
