Geneva Thompson Adams, DEC retiree

Geneva Thompson Adams, 95, died Monday, March 12, 2018.

Geneva worked many years at the Delaware Electric Cooperative, and upon retiring she moved to Dover where she enjoyed time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Melhunek, and a brother, Stanley Thompson.

Geneva is survived by daughter Karen Stevenson; granddaughters Stacey Altemus, and Lyn Bobiak and husband Jason, all of Wilmington; great-grandchildren Justin Altemus, Melanie Altemus, Stefan Bobiak and Sara Bobiak; sister Ruby DeMarie of Dover; and sister-in-law Betty Thompson of Rehoboth.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 15, at noon at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services.

Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
