Georgetown chamber to install 2019 board Nov. 15

Nominations have been confirmed. The Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, at the CHEER Community Center. Chamber members are excited to welcome four new board members for 2019 including Amy Wood, CEO of Sun Behavioral Delaware; Mary Ann Leager, vice president of M&T Bank; Eric Montgomery, owner of The Computer Guy Inc.; and Brent Schott, account manager at Affordable Business Systems.

Returning to the board of directors are Anthony DelFranco, 2019 board president and director of marketing at CHEER; Bill West, 2019 chamber first vice president and mayor of Georgetown; Michael Fabber, 2019 chamber second vice president and executive director for the Joseph Patrick Fabber Memorial Foundation; Veronica Nahn-Nock, 2019 chamber secretary and branch manager of Del-One Federal Credit Union; Linda Price, 2019 chamber treasurer and branch manager of Fulton Bank; Donna Koskey, 2019 immediate past president and owner of Chardon Jewelers Ltd.; board member Glenn Sweeten of Edward Jones Investments; board member Paco Hernandez of Premier Staffing Solutions; and board member Judy Dean of RE/MAX Associates. Helen Kruger of Kruger Trailers will also be recognized as an honorary chamber director for her years of service to the chamber and the Town of Georgetown.

One of the highlights of the evening will be guest speakers Michael Fabber and Samar Kargbo from the Joseph Patrick Fabber Memorial Foundation. They will be teaming up for a motivational presentation aimed at helping people achieve their goals, create value in their lives and work toward a more successful business in 2019.

The event will include a buffet dinner as well as beer and wine available for purchase. Tickets are $25.
