Get to the bottom of dog abduction

January 28, 2020

Ms. Tricarico’s recent letter to the editor has confirmed what I too thought was happening in Sussex County. It terrifies me and breaks my heart for those whose dogs have been abducted.

Can we get more information out to the public on what was seen? Can anyone give a description of the van, the women, the driver - anything! Can we get this information out on the local news?

It’s all well and good to be on alert but it would be much more helpful if we could at least have an idea of what to look out for.

I would hope our state troopers would take an interest in this as well. Dog fighting is an abomination that needs to be stopped. Our area is not that large. Surely someone out there knows something about this.

I would be more than happy to contribute to a fund to reward people for information leading to the arrest of these people. (I use that term very loosely.)

We, as a community, need to mobilize. Sussex County is not that large. Someone out there knows what’s going on. We need their help and we need to take any sort of action possible to save those abducted dogs and stop this in its tracks.
