Get Out the Vote rally a success

Candidates, family, friends, volunteers and supporters gathered Sept. 30 for a Get Out the Vote Rally at American Legion Post 28 on Route 24. Elected officials and candidates spoke to the crowd, and each received a check to support their efforts.
The Frozen Farmer team members outdid themselves, serving a wonderful selection of ice cream and sorbet, including toppings.
“We had a grand afternoon of celebrating and fellowship,” said Ron Sams, Republicans for Sussex chair. Republicans for Sussex and the Sussex County Republican Committee co-hosted the event.
