GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club installs new officers

At the April general meeting of the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club, the 2022-24 board members were inducted into their new positions.

Incoming board members are Lynn Barberi, president; Maureen Keeney, vice president; Penelope Moreland-Gunn, treasurer; Eva Dupont, assistant treasurer; Eileen Spangler, recording secretary; and
Ellen Grillo, corresponding secretary. Past President Vickie Burrier will remain on the board as a director.

Although her presidency began during a public health crisis, Burrier quickly pivoted to a new way of fundraising, operating club programs and holding meetings so the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club could continue to serve the community. Club members are grateful for her leadership and service.

A retired school principal, incoming President Lynn Barberi has been a member for five years and previously served as vice president.

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and a nonprofit corporation. Proceeds help fund programs that serve and improve the community. To learn more, go to gfwcZwaanendael.org.
