Go see ‘Aunt Mary Pat’ and support Morrison

October 11, 2019

On Thursday evening, Oct. 24, the sassy and hysterical Aunt Mary Pat returns to the beautiful Milton Theater. Doors open at 6 p.m., and show time is 7 p.m.

The evening is a fundraiser for Eric Morrison, Democrat for state representative for the 27th District in the Newark/Bear area. Eric has been very active in Delaware’s LGBT community for 26 years, including many years on the board of Delaware Pride and over three years as its president. He is also a longtime volunteer for AIDS Delaware and the Rainbow Chorale of Delaware, and has helped to raise many tens of thousands of dollars for Delaware LGBT organizations.

Eric is challenging a conservative six-term Democratic incumbent representative. In 2013, he voted against same-sex marriage. In 2017, he abstained from voting to ban “conversion therapy“ for LGBT minors, saying he “heard testimony from both sides.“ Also, in 2017, he voted against a bill that codified in Delaware law a woman’s right to choose, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned at the federal level.

If elected, Eric will be only the second openly LGBT member of the Delaware Legislature; the first openly LGBT member of the House of Representatives; and the first openly gay man elected to the Delaware Legislature.

Get your tickets now for Aunt Mary Pat‘s great show at the Milton Theater. We expect to sell out quickly. To purchase tickets, please look under the event section of “Eric Morrison for State Representative on Facebook, visit the tickets link at (Event Brite link), or contact the campaign at EricMorrison4the27th@gmail.com.
