Gold Alert issued for Virginia woman last seen in Bethany Beach

A Gold Alert has been issued for a Virginia woman who was last seen June 15 in Bethany Beach.

Sheila Doyle, 66, of Fairfax, was last seen on Skipjack Village Road, Salt Pond Development, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police. She was expected to arrive at her Fairfax home on June 16, and she was last known to be in the company of her son, 35-year-old Brian Doyle.

Sheila Doyle is 5-feet-6-inches tall, 130 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair. She may be wearing a black zip-up jacket, black pants, black shoes and glasses.

They may have been traveling in a black 2020 Buick Enclave, with Virginia tags, registration UKX7235.

Jaffe said there is a true concern for her safety and welfare, and anyone with information in reference to her whereabouts or this case is asked to contact Detective D.
