Lewes resident and local gym owner Will Harris captured his ninth Delaware’s Strongest Man title April 25 at Rehoboth Beach Barbell Club.
The annual contest drew nearly 40 competitors from across the region to take part in a demanding series of events, including the circus dumbbell clean and press, trap bar deadlift, medley carries, Hercules hold and stone-over-bar.
The competition tested total-body strength, endurance and resilience across multiple weight classes and divisions.
Harris, competing in the heavyweight division, delivered consistent performances throughout the day to secure the overall win. This marks his ninth overall win in three different weight classes.
The event also highlighted the continued growth of Strongman contests in the region, with athletes of all levels pushing their limits in a high-energy atmosphere.
