Harry N. Miller, heavy equipment operator

Harry N. Miller, 76, of Oak Orchard, and formerly of Marathon, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.  He was born April 3, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Harry N. and Rita C. (Kelly) Miller.

Mr. Miller built a lifelong career in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoying many cross-country rides. Mr. Miller had a great sense of humor and was a captivating storyteller. More than anything, however, he cherished time spent with his family and dear friends. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Miller.  He is survived by his children: Sharon Abel of Lyndeborough, N.H., Harry Miller, Frank Miller, John Miller, Artie Miller, and Keith Shuey, all of Lewes; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several dear friends.

All services will be private.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Lewes.
