Heidi Lowe Gallery to host jewelry classes July 15

Rings in the morning, beach glass pendants in the afternoon
July 8, 2020

Heidi Lowe Gallery will host two jewelry classes Wednesday, July 15.

A rings class will meet from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is an introductory metalsmithing class. Each student will make a ring out of sterling silver and wear it home that day.

A beach glass pendant class will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Students will bring or choose a piece of beach glass to create a special pendant made by hand.

In both classes, students will learn the basics of metalsmithing such as sawing, filing, texturing and soldering. Each student will create a unique piece of jewelry to wear home.

“Beach glass pendants are a fun way to create a beautiful piece of jewelry from a cherished treasure found locally or on vacation,” said Lowe.

Registration for the classes is open to anyone over the age of 13 and is $100 per person plus $10 or $30, depending on the class, for materials.

Classes have limited availability. To register in advance, go to www.HeidiLoweJewelry.com.

Heidi Lowe Gallery in Rehoboth Beach is under construction. Lowe can be found at her temporary studio space at 17522 Ward Ave., Lewes. The space is open for classes and by appointment. For more information call 302-227-9203.
