Herbert Lee Daffin Jr., cherished his family

Herbert Lee Daffin Jr., 72, of Selbyville passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. He was born June 26, 1949, in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Herbert L. and Thelma (Howard) Daffin.

After retiring, Mr. Daffin loved taking his family fishing and camping. He cherished time spent with those he held most dear, and was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Daffin was preceded in death by his two loving sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra (Larson) Daffin; his daughter, Amanda Daffin; his two stepsons: Joshua Firle (Sheila) and Jon Firle; his 14 grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; his sister, Linda of Tucson, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

All services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Yates Funeral Home and Crematorium, a Parsell Family Funeral Home, Seaford.
