Historical society to host Dennis Forney presentation April 26

The Lewes Historical Society will host Dennis Forney, publisher of the Cape Gazette, for a presentation on the newspaper’s 25th anniversary, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 26, at the Margaret H. Rollins Community Center in Lewes.
Forney will discuss his personal history and the storied history of the Cape Gazette while providing a glimpse into the world of journalism and publishing. Forney has been a journalist on the Delmarva Peninsula since 1972. The Cape Gazette was founded by Forney and editor Trish Vernon in 1993.
