H.O.B. paraprofessional Dan Ippolito donates to school running club

February 16, 2020

The Let Me Run Program is gearing up to begin at H.O. Brittingham Elementary School.

To start the season off on the right foot, Dan Ippolito, a paraprofessional and club advisor, donated $1,000 to the club to make sure that all students who want to participate have the opportunity to do so.

Let Me Run is an exercise program that combines exercising with fun activities. It aims to help young people learn teamwork, build relationships and friendships, grow emotionally, get stronger, become more respectful, and lead an active lifestyle. The club is currently tailored to fourth- and fifth-grade boys and will meet Monday and Wednesday.

The season concludes at the end of April with a 5K run, which is a fundraiser for the Lewes July Fourth fireworks.
