Hope Floats event to benefit Children’s Beach House July 24

July 13, 2021

Hope Floats, a charitable event with a nautical theme, will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, July 24, at Children’s Beach House in Lewes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit beach house programs. The CBH mission is to help children with communicative disabilities to be successful in life and reach their highest potential as functioning members of their families and communities.

Tickets cost $100 and include dinner, live music with 2nd Time Around, an orange crush bar provided by Paradise Grill, beer and wine, and a live auction featuring luxury experiences that will be up for grabs to the highest bidders.

The presenting sponsor for this event is Freedom Boat Club. Tom, Bev and Josh Rosella, Freedom Boat Club owners, have also sponsored a day of boating for the children and families of CBH that will take place a week or two before the Hope Floats event. “We have a beautiful coastline that many people only get to see from the shore. We wanted to share our passion for getting out on the water and offer the children the same experience and adventure of a boat ride with us, which will be a new adventure for many of them,” Bev Rosella said.

Additional event sponsors and contributors include Giving Hope Network; Karen D. Poore, ChFC; John Downey; Paradise Grill; Rehoboth Foodie; Rise Up Coffee; and Touch of Italy.
