I.G. Burton has proven re-election necessary

September 11, 2020

I.G. Burton should remain on Sussex County Council.  I have watched him, and in my opinion, he is the breath of fresh air that has been needed for a long time on county council.  In the past Sussex County Council has rubber stamped requests for conditional use of otherwise residential land.  All too often the land owner would open a commercial business and only after being cited for a violation would request conditional use status, and get it. Having said this, and knowing that land use is a major concern in Sussex County, the one person that should not be a member of county council is a Realtor.  A realtor can not help but have an inherent conflict of interest. For the record I am a registered Democrat,  and can not vote for either.
