IMC-Lewes to host Larissa Kitenko retreat March 6

February 21, 2021

Insight Meditation Community of Lewes will welcome meditation teacher Larissa Kitenko for a virtual retreat from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 6, via Zoom.

The event will include a dharma talk on the topic of The Power of Presence – Practicing in Difficult Times.

Kitenko said, “The dharma guides us to cultivate wholesome qualities of the mind and open-heartedness as skillful means to relate to life’s challenges. Consequently, a new relationship with them will unfold that will bring us increased joy and freedom no matter how stressful times may be.”

Attendees are encouraged to maintain noble silence during the virtual retreat, except for the discussion period, so they may fully experience the benefits of the teachings and practice. The virtual retreat will include mindfulness meditation, walking practice, group sitting, a short talk, and discussion.

All are welcome to attend this morning of meditation and discussion.

The suggested donation for the retreat is $20. For those with limited income, 50 percent or any amount of the suggested donation offered is welcome. If budget does not allow for a donation, simply log in; no explanation is needed.
