Irene L. Hansen, enjoyed her family
Irene L. Hansen, 87, of Milton, formerly of Delaware County, Pa., passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Irene was a graduate of Yeadon High School. She previously waitressed for several places, and drove a cab in Delaware County, Pa., and Lewes.
She enjoyed playing cards, ceramics and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Irene Manlove; her daughter, Carol Hibberd; grandchildren, Brian, Samantha and Chuck Stockett, and Shane Hansen; and sister, Linda Peck.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Ang) Hansen, Sandy (Tim) LaPorte, Chris (Denise) Hansen, Donna Gooner, Lisa (Rahn) Stewart and Bruce (Heidi) Hansen; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20, at Lewes Presbyterian Church, 133 Kings Hwy., Lewes. Burial will be private.
