Iris paper folding at Milton Arts Guild July 18
For its July Artful Touch event, Milton Arts Guild will offer iris paper folding with Sandee Duncan from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 18. The address is 310 Walnut St., Milton.
With beautiful papers, a simple design and few nips, tucks and folds, participants will have a beautiful 3-D effect in a 2-D presentation. Duncan is a master at guiding students through a process that at first seems complicated, but becomes easy to see. Attendees should bring scissors, cellophane tape and any papers they love. All other materials will be provided by the arts guild.
MAG Artful Touch classes explore new techniques and topics in a no-pressure environment, making these classes a great way to try something new. This class is $30 for MAG members, if prepaid. For nonmembers or members who have not prepaid, the cost is $40.
